Oils for General Aches and Pains

We all suffer from aches and pains once in a while, if not constantly. These remedies will help with your sore back, legs, neck, shoulders, or whatever else might be hurting. Just keep them away from your face.

4 drops lavender
2 drops ginger
Add to bath, then get in and soak for about 20 minutes.

2 drops vetiver
5 drops lavender
3 drops ginger
4 tsp carrier oil (sweet almond or grapeseed)
Combine and use as a daily massage.

2 drops angelica
2 drops vetiver
5 drops lavender
4tsp carrier oil
Combine and apply as a gentle massage.
Note: avoid angelica oil during pregnancy, and stay out of the sun for 12 hours after applying it.

2 drops ginger
2 drops turmeric
2 drops vetiver
4 tsp carrier oil
Combine and apply as a gentle massage.

4 drops marjoram
4 drops ginger
2 drops vetiver
4 tsp carrier oil
Combine and use as a massage.

2 drops peppermint
4 drops rosemary
4 drops black pepper
4 tsp carrier oil
Combine and use as a daily massage.
Note: avoid rosemary oil if you have high blood pressure or epilepsy. If you have sensitive skin only use 1 drop of peppermint.

4 drops rosemary
2 drops lemongrass
4 drops nutmeg
4 teaspoons carrier oil
Combine and use as a massage.
Note: do not use rosemary oil if you have high blood pressure or epilepsy.

3 drops eucalyptus
4 drops rosemary
3 drops ginger
4 teaspoons carrier oil
Combine and use as a massage.
Note: avoid rosemarey oil if you have high blood pressure or epilepsy.

2 drops nutmeg
4 drops cardamom
4 drops grapefruit
4 teaspoons carrier oil
Combine and massage into affected area.
Note: keep affected area out of the sun for 12 hours.

2 drops may chang
4 drops juniper
4 drops lavender
4 drops carrier oil
Combine and massage into affected area.
